Southern Oregon ESD School Psychologists

Southern Oregon ESD school psychologists hold a minimum of a Specialists Degree (Masterís plus 30 additional credits) and state licensure from Oregonís Teacher Standards and Practices Commission. Some of the school psychologists have also earned national certification. All school psychologist have their own specific areas of expertise allowing for on-going professional development through peer mentoring and collaboration.
While school psychologists are assigned to serve specific districts, they enlist the support and expertise of their colleagues for additional consultation as may be necessary.
Southern Oregon ESD school psychologists provide a variety of services according to the individual needs and requests of their districts or schools. Common services include individual student evaluations, participation in IEP meetings, consultation with teachers and parents, behavior planning, individual and group counseling, inservice presentations, interagency contact, program development, and participation in various planning committees.
