Southern Oregon High School Counselors & Liaisons Training Series

A joint training overview from Oregon Tech, Southern Oregon, Klamath Community College, and Rogue Community for Jackson, Josephine, and Klamath County high school staff that assist students with higher education opportunities in the region.

SOU, Oregon Tech, RCC, and KCC are planning Joint High School Counselor and Liaison trainings to assist our high school partners with helping students move on to post-secondary education in the Southern Oregon region. A part of this effort will include regular video chats with college representatives on topics including Admissions, Dual Credit, Financial Aid, working with special populations (undocumented students, rural, underrepresented, first generation, etc.), CTE/Pathways, FERPA: High School vs College, 10 things I wish my Counselor had told me before college, and more!

Friday Foundations for Futures: a virtual training session 9am-10am every other Friday in the Spring of 2021.
