SOESD’s STEAM Department has a lot to offer.

Our department’s focus:

Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math (STEAM) is embedded in everything we do. When we talk about STEAM, we are talking about intentional focus on recognizing and developing STEAM-related components in everything. STEAM is for every subject!

Career Connected Learning (CCL) refers to hands-on learning, usually tied to a specific career pathway. Examples of CCL are internships, CTE classes, and the Bus Project.

YOUScience

Help students discover their aptitudes and interests. Often times we are interested in what we are familiar with but we donā€™t always know what our aptitudes are. This platform offers a series of brain games that show you exactly how your brain naturally works, describes your aptitudes and interests and then points you to career possibilities. When we pair aptitudes with interest, we inspire pathway selection and career exploration and confidence.
